🌙 The Sleepy Little Caterpillar A bedtime story inspired by Eric Carle's “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”
🟡 Once upon a time, under the silver moonlight, a tiny egg lay quietly on a fresh green leaf.
🌞 One morning, the sun peeked out and warmed the leaf.
Pop! — out came a teeny, tiny caterpillar.
But oh! 🐛 He was not only tiny...
He was also very, very hungry!
🍓 On Monday, he found one red strawberry.
He took a tiny bite. Nibble, nibble!
“Yum!” he whispered, “But I’m still hungry…”
🍐 On Tuesday, he found two green pears.
Chomp! Chomp! He munched them quickly, but… he was still hungry!
🍊 On Wednesday, he found three juicy oranges.
The juice made him giggle! Slurp, slurp! But still… not full.
🍰 On Thursday, he found four sweet treats: a slice of cake, a cookie, an ice cream cone, and a donut!
“Oh my!” he said. He gobbled them up — munch, crunch, gulp!
But that night… his belly felt a little too full. 😵
🌿 On Friday, he nibbled one soft green leaf.
“Ahh,” he sighed. “That’s better…”
💤 His tummy was happy now.
And so… he got very, very sleepy.
🐛 The little caterpillar spun a soft, silky cocoon around himself.
He curled up inside like a baby in a blanket.
And he slept…
…
…and slept…
…until one bright morning…
🦋 Pop! — out came a beautiful butterfly!
With wings of red, yellow, and blue,
he fluttered gently into the morning sky.
⭐ And so, the sleepy little caterpillar became a gentle butterfly,
dreaming sweet dreams as he flew over the world.
🛏️ Goodnight, little one. Sleep tight.
May your dreams be soft… and your wings be bright. 🦋💤
