🌙✨ I Love You to the Moon and Back (A bedtime retelling inspired by the original book by Amelia Hepworth, illustrated by Tim Warnes)

 

🌄 As the sun peeks over the hills...

🐻 A big, fluffy Bear and a tiny, cuddly Cub wake up in the soft morning light.

"I love you," says Big Bear, "as bright as the sun,
From your little wet nose to your paws that run." 🐾

🌲 Through the whispering forest they roam,
Climbing up hills and tumbling down stones.

When Cub slips, Big Bear gently lifts.
"I’ve got you, always," he says with a kiss. 💞

💧 By the babbling brook, they splash and play,
Sending sparkling raindrops dancing away.

"I love you," says Bear, "like rivers that flow—
Endlessly, softly, wherever you go." 🌊

🌬️ As the wind brushes leaves with a fluttering sound,
They leap through the meadows and roll on the ground.

They giggle and wriggle in tall grass so green.
Cub feels safe, wrapped in love unseen. 🍃

🍂 In the hush of the woods, they cuddle real tight,
Snuggled in ferns in the dimming light.

"I love you," says Bear, "with a love so wide,
It circles the world, then comes back inside." 🌍

🌌 Now stars twinkle bright in the velvet sky,
And the moon climbs slowly, way up high.

As Cub nestles close, warm under Bear's chin,
The night softly whispers, "Let dreaming begin..." 🌙💤

🛏️ And just before sleep, in the still and the hush,
Bear whispers low in the moonlit brush:

"I love you to the moon and back,
Through every dream, along every track. 🌠

Over starlit hills and silver sea—
Forever and always, you’re safe with me." 💖

Sleep tight, little one. 🌜🐻💤
The stars are watching, the moon is glowing, and love is all around.
