🍇 The Fox and the Grapes
Once upon a time, there was a hungry fox 🦊 who was wandering through the forest in search of food. After a long walk, he came upon a vineyard. Hanging high on the vine was a beautiful bunch of juicy, purple grapes 🍇, glistening in the sunlight.
The fox licked his lips and said,
"Those grapes look delicious. I must have them!"
He jumped up to snatch the grapes, but they were too high. He tried again and again, leaping as high as he could — once, twice, three times — but still, he could not reach them. 😩
Finally, tired and frustrated, the fox gave up. As he walked away, he muttered:
"Those grapes are probably sour anyway."
🌿 Moral of the story:
It’s easy to despise what you cannot have.
